Sloppy Firsts by Megan Mccafferty

This book was reccommended to me by a good friend of mine.  I'm guessing it is nothing like my previous book that I was reading.  This book seems like more of your average teenage girl book and I can already relate to it.  The main character, Jessica, was left in the same old town while her best friend, Hope moved away.  This happened to me right after 8th grade graduation, my best friend moved all the way to Panama.  I can relate to their feelings because it is not always the easiest thing to go through, especially right before I started high school. Jess and Hope made sure to keep in contact by snail mail, phone calls, and email at least once a day.  I'm wondering if it will be like the relationship I had with my friend.

  1. I can also relate to this. When I was just going to start 8th grade, I moved away from all of my best friends to West Chicago. True, I only moved 20 mins away, but it was still hard knowing that I wouldn't be able to see my friends every day. It was also a positive experience as well because I reunited with old friends and made new best friends. :]
    Enjoy your book

  2. I can also relate to this because one of my close friends moved away right before eighth grade too. Unfortunaltly we ended up not staying on touch.

  4. I can really relate to this because there was time when i had to move away and leave all my old close friends. It was probably the hardest think that a teenager can go. It was horrible. This books sounds very interesting!!
